The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and Montana Harvest of the Month (HOM) Program are excited to accept applications for the HOM Mini-Grant Program. Six $500 mini-grants will be distributed to Montana producers and various institutions, organizations, and businesses participating in HOM. New HOM sites are welcome to apply.
The purpose of the mini-grant is to provide financial and technical assistance to HOM sites, encourage participating sites to promote Montana grown and raised foods to their audience groups using HOM, and obtain feedback on the challenges and opportunities of program participation.
The mini-grants are funded with support from the Montana Department of Agriculture Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.
Applications are due August 8, 2022 at 11:59pm MST.
- K-12 schools and afterschool programs will not be considered for this round of mini-grants
- Sites MUST register for Harvest of the Month and complete the baseline survey BEFORE your application is submitted.
